The project Art and Science<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Art and science<\/strong> have influenced each other for centuries, they have inspired each other and art can be a mean for scientific communication<\/em>. Hadamard at the beginning of the nineteenth century, discovered two models in which the scientist\u2019s creativity is manifested: intuitive which is essentially like the artistic mindset and the analytical, Albert Einstein is a good example of how the two mindsets can coexist.\u200b<\/p>\n<\/div>

The fils rouge<\/em> that unites the images are:\u200b<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. the photographs<\/strong> taken of only the brain related cells<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. the artistic re-elaboration<\/strong>, that happens within the constraints of the fluorescent colours<\/strong> and the dark background<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. the surrealistic images<\/strong> that are then freely elaborated within 4 main themes: the mind<\/strong> (feelings and consciousness), micro and macro worlds, nature, technology<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u200bThe sketches for each paintings are firstly created digitally<\/strong>, for every image there is a time lapse video showing the creative process. The purpose for such methodology is to allow the viewer to be totally immersed in each stage of the creative process<\/em>, stimulating total understanding and consequentially full involvement, which will then find its way to the final realisation in the paintings executed manually on canvas, with paint<\/strong>.\u200b<\/p>\n<\/div>

    The result of this endeavour, will be a multi media exhibition<\/em> with approximately 22 videos accompanying 22 physical paintings, aiming at a wall installation. \u200b<\/p>\n<\/div>

    The proceeds from the sale of the artworks are donated to support biomedical research.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Collaboration with Native Digital for augmented reality microchips of 3\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>artworks<\/b><\/p><\/h3><\/div>

    The paintings resulting from the collaboration between the artist Claudia Cantoni<\/strong> and the biologist Ester Piovesana<\/strong> are truly unique and revolutionary works of art<\/strong>, thanks to the triple combination of biology<\/em> (cell images under the microscope), technology<\/em> (the smart dust of Native Digital) and art<\/em> (the artist’s surreal interpretation).
    \nThis integration of art and technology blurs the lines between the physical and digital, creating a new form of expression that pushes the boundaries of traditional art.
    \nThe smart dust technology developed by Native Digital is truly futuristic<\/strong>. This technology gives each piece of art a unique and unrepeatable digital DNA<\/em> that is embedded into its very fabric, making it an inalienable part of the artwork. This DNA is stored securely on the blockchain<\/em>, in the form of a non-fungible token<\/em>, providing a concrete, tamper-proof record of the artwork’s authenticity and provenance and facilitating its exchange on the nativedigital.ch marketplace. This technology not only protects the integrity of the artwork but also enhances the viewing experience by enabling augmented reality experiences through the Native Digital AR app.
    \nThanks to smart dust, the art-viewing experience is forever changed. With a simple scan of a smartphone, Claudia’s paintings come to life, revealing hidden depths and dimensions. The power of this technology is truly amazing, and it represents a new frontier in the world of art and its enjoyment.<\/p>\n
